About Us

In 1981 a group of Robinson men formed the Crawford County Collectibles Car Club. The club was formed to promote interest in the restoration, preservation and showmanship of automobiles.

The founding officers were:
Tom Holubek - President
Ed Miller - Vice President
Richard Murphy - Secretary
Ray Ridgley - Treasurer

The club has had as many as 40 members at one time. Many special events have taken place over the years, such as visiting nursing homes with club members cars, providing convertibles for area parades and homecomings. One of the things that the club members enjoy helping with is the Toys For Tots Program. This program is to help less fortunate children receive toys for Christmas and we have helped for the past 10 years.

One of the first car shows hosted by the Crawford County Collectibles was held inside the Robinson Community Center. For many years the club held fully judged car shows at various places in the county, but the Cruise-In format has been used for the past several years. In 2001, a format of multiple Cruise-Ins was put into place with great success. Once a month from May to October a Cruise-In is held at a different business in Robinson. We are continually trying to promote our club and interest in our hobby. New members are always welcome, so come cruise with us.
